Terms of Service for Next CoLab (Beta)

Welcome to Next CoLab ("NCL"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our Beta platform. By using NCL, you agree to these Terms.

1. Beta Disclaimer

Next CoLab is currently in Beta. This means the service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

• Risks: The service may contain bugs, errors, or inaccuracies.
• Data Loss: We reserve the right to wipe data or interrupt service at any time without prior notice.
• No Warranty: NCL makes no guarantees regarding the uptime or reliability of the service during the Beta period.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (whether via magic link or password). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. User Content and Data Ownership

• Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the meeting transcripts you upload to NCL.
• Our Metrics: NCL owns all metrics, analytics, and benchmarks generated from your use of the platform. You agree that NCL may use anonymized, de-identified data derived from your transcripts for research, benchmarking, and product improvement. This data will not contain personally identifiable information (PII).

4. Privacy and Disclosure

• Privacy First: Individual feedback and data are private to the user. NCL will not share individual data with your employer, HR department, or third parties without your explicit consent.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law (e.g., a valid subpoena or court order) or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
• Corporate Policy: Users should be aware that transcripts sourced from third-party tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.) may be subject to their own organization's data retention and discovery policies.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or "scrape" the platform.
• Upload content that violates the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Circumvent any security features of the platform.

6. Third-Party Integrations

NCL integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. NCL is not responsible for the performance or policies of these third-party providers.

7. Feedback

We love feedback! However, you agree that any suggestions, ideas, or feedback provided to NCL becomes the sole property of Next CoLab. We may implement these ideas without any obligation to compensate you.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Beta at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Next CoLab (and its officers and employees) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Beta service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
